It was a wonderful, satisfying feeling to have early on a Friday morning. I would like to thank Thinkpink for the mighty cleaning efforts and BuRashed 4800 who helped relentlessly to clean up the whole beach. We had loads of fun, baking in the sun, and cooling off in the water, filling gorgeous garbage bags and feeding the dumpster. The beach was strewn with filth and debris, as you can see the images below will tell the story.
I hope this will spur a movement for clean ups everywhere, another place that seriously needs attention is the Al-Jazayer Beach, which is far more messy than the Al-Fateh Beach.

here is the situation as explained to iThinkPink:
ThinkPink,, I came around 9.05am and kept looking and circiling the area for any sign of people cleaning but I didn’t notice anything. I think I had ended up in the wrong place. Pardon me because I usually don’t drive in bahrain, and for a person like me who don’t know much places around bahrain, I can easily get lost. Inform me if you plan going again next week because I really want to do this before i return to the UK and will email soulsearch for exact directions to reach there.
Please inform me when do you plan on cleaning al-jazayer beach because I really wanna do this before leaving back to UK on the 16th this much.

Thanks everyone for your comments and encouragement. Tito, I'm sorry you missed it but we didn't have a mobile to call you. Thinkpink did tell me that you were lost but I had no way of contacting you. I will definitely keep you posted on any more beach clean up plans.
I will be busy this week, maybe we can join in when other people plan an initiative like this! Hopefully!
