Are those sea shells?! We have such beautiful and clean beaches open to the public in Bahrain?!

Where was this taken?!!

this does look like a beautiful beach....

It is, but as I've said in an older post its been neglected, you can hardly walk on the beach from all the debris and the huge stones.
That is why I was trying to get some people to get together in the same time and adopt this beach. It will be a huge service to the public as this beach (near the Marina Club) is very popular!

Any volunteers?

SoulSearch

Very scenic, thanks for a lovely picture.

Am interested in volunteering, where exactly is this beach and do you have any directions to the Marina Club? i may not show up in a group armed with gloves, rakes, and garbage bags but i'll try to do my bit if you just tell me where this location is at.

Thanks.

This is a small swath of beach in the area near the Marina club, there are a few swings and trees obsecuring this beach but it is there if you walk up a bit. Lets please choose a day when we or anyone who reads this blog get together and clean it up. It won't take us more than 2-3 hours I'm sure. It will be great community work!
How about next weekend?

Any hands up?

Peace,
SoulSearch

Sounds like an awesome idea and my hand is up :) Except, is this beach open early in the morning? Like say, 3am - 5am?

thanks,

A long, deep sigh. I left my name in the Sands of Bahrain a long time ago, but of course the tide washed it away. Lovely picture! And thanks for bringing back that memory.

Thanks everyone for your response on this post. But I guess its just you and me ThinkPink, Any more volunteers? We seriously need more man/woman power to clean up this beach, its rather small, so don't get intimidated and we'll even throw in free drinks...How's that? ;)

Peace,
SoulSearch

I would like to participate as well
is it still possible??

Yes, by all means. Would you like to meet up next weekend maybe before it gets too hot and then we get fried? But we will need more people to volunteer so spread the word. Thanks Tito.
We will need to meet up and discuss a plan of some sort and then maybe see what we need. Please let me know if you're ok for next week end.

Thinkpink, let me know if you're free next weekend as well.

Anyone else?

Peace,
SoulSearch.

Thank you for your fast response SoulSearch. Next week is great for me, and since I am on a holiday, the date and time won't be much of a difference for me. But I would like to note that I will leave Bahrain on the 16th of this month, so I would prefer the beach service to be before that date.

I will publish a new post on my blog asking if anyone would like to voulenteer and hopefully refer back to you if anyone repsonses.

If there are any other means of contact (such as email, please let me know)
